How to protect yourself from fake job advertisements and fraud

September 1, 2026

Important warning signs that help protect your information and money during a job search.

Do not pay for a job

Do not transfer recruitment, insurance or interview-booking fees to an unknown person. Treat pressure to pay quickly as a serious warning sign.

Verify the organization

Check the company name, website, official email and public presence. Be cautious when the contact refuses to provide clear information.

Protect your data

Never share a password, verification code or bank-card information. Do not upload identity documents publicly; use protected platform forms only for a clear reason.

Report suspicious activity

Keep evidence of the advert and conversation, stop contact when risk signs appear, and use the Noqtet Wasl reporting route for review.

Note: Use your Noqtet Wasl account to complete your profile and follow opportunities. Never share passwords or verification codes.
